The seller has 1557 feedbacks, 100% positive.I'm with Victor on this one. I worked with 6N1P's a few years ago. They are quite prone to oscillation. Google "6N1P Oscillation" and you'll see that you're not alone.
I'd be more curious about the amplifier design. Was it truly set up for a 6N1P or a 6DJ8/6922 type? Grid stoppers? Clean layout? Decoupling?
Why not post a schematic? The fix might be pretty simple.
