Al is correct.
VT series had nothing to do with selection for sonic attributes. A mil compatibility designation for primarily Allied Forces.
"Old mil radio guys"? Uh Huh! Another speil to entice buyers with promises of grandiose performance.
These guys must have been the same group that told an inmate who told me that the mil didn't buy 539C's and TungSol didn't make 5932's!!!
