CharlieV, hi. The CL-34 has 8 tubes total. Looking at the aft view of the preamp the line up is: 12AX 12AU 12AU 12AX 12AX 12AU 12AU 12AX. I was thinking the CL-32 had a similar lineup but apparently not. Does the CL-32 show any test points on the board? These would be in the phono section. In the CL-34 there are a couple of pots to set up the duo beta properly. CL-34 has 4 tubes in the phono stage and 4 tubes in the line. I have been searching for a schema for the CL-34 with no luck thus far. The CL-32 may have been a Luxkit offering. I don't remember the CL-32 being offered at retail in the USA. The CL-35 and CL-34 were along with MB-3045 monos and MQ-68c. It's not that tough to trace it out but it would be nice to see original circuit documentation. As a final note Luxman Corp. as it now exists offers zero help on legacy products. I do not understand this attitude. Apparently Luxman could care less. I view this as very short sighted to say the least.
