I had a new ST70 and PAS3X back in the late 60's. Speakers were Bozak 305 3 ways.I enjoyed this system for five years but I felt the lower bass was always a bit shy.Treble was not a complaint other than the touchy PAS tone controls.I got sucked into the "specs" of new ST120 and bought one. After the first five minutes of listening I was on the phone with Dyna asking why the 120 didn't have any treble. An engineer at Dyna referred to the ST120 treble as "rabbit fuzz" compared to the ST70. I'll never forget that! The new ST120 sat in the basement until I upgraded speakers to bi-amped Bozak 4000's. The ST120 did a great job with the Bozak woofers and I had the ST70 on the top. Lots of people say the ST70 has no high end but it did well for me. Recently I was given an ST70. Haven't heard one in 30 years. Now I remember why I liked it. The bass isn't really all there but it's still a real nice sounding amp to me.
