RE: 300B's on TV7

I'd second the recommendation to either get the service manual or send the unit off to Dan Nelson. Tube testers rarely have a single problem, and if one voltage is off, do you really trust the others? Any conclusions made with the meter will be suspect.

If you do get the service manual remember that the voltage readings were made with a "vintage" VOM, perhaps a 10K/v input if I recall.

If you have an early TV7/U I'd strongly suggest sending off the unit. They are way harder to calibrate than the later models as they have fixed resistors to replace instead of potentiometers to adjust.

In any case - it's better to have a meter that needs calibration than a box-o-dead-300b's.
