M, hi again. Sorry I could not get back to you sooner. No matter. Glad my ditherings were of some interest. My late brother-in-law gifted me with those French Mazda 12AX7S tubes many years ago. He knew I would appreciate them. He was not wrong. I don't recall running into more of them in the intervening years - even during the good HAM fest years. He also gifted me with an 833. "Use it for a night light". I like the idea but it draws just too much darned current (for a nightlight). Re 12AX7S Mazda - I have tried them in a few 12AX7 positions over the years: first tube in Luxman MB-3045, first tube in McIntosh MC-225, et cetera. I treasure them. Happy Rolling and Happy Listening.
