Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

I have several amps and I am curious, how do I know if I need matched tubes in the output?
For example I've been told I need matched pairs for my Dynaco St70 but not matched quads, due to the bias only being adjustable per side not per tube. Is this a true statement?
So how do I tell for sure on my other amps?
Dynaco St35, Mk4, st70

Thanks
