Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Hi,
I am wondering if it is worth it to pursue the best vintage tube testers when the new Amplitrex seems to have them beat on all performance parameters. It tests tubes at real world operating voltages (up to 500 volts). The closest in this respect is the Triplett (250 V). It also has many features not offered on the vintage tube testers (hook up to C for graphs and other features). All relevant comments are welcomed.
