Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

I am trying to match 6550's in my CAT JL2. I have the Maxi matcher power tube tester. This tester measures plate current and transconductance. Should I be matching by plate current, transconductance or some combination of the two? Any assistance with this question is appreciated.Bart
