Cryo-treated Tubes - Opinions Welcome

I'm a rookie tube amp owner (Heathkit SA-2) and during my education have come across GZ34 Sovtek rectifiers that have reportedly been cryogenically treated. Whether they have or not is another story. Other than the claim that they will grow hair on my head, should I believe the other claims that they are "better" than their non-cryogenic bretheren?
