Cool. Just one point. McIntosh uses the same machinery to wind transformers today as they did in the 1950s. Some of the ladies running this machinery have been winding for over thirty years. The only major change over the years is better insulation on the wire used now as opposed to the older lacquer insulation.
If you call the factory ahead of time you can arrange to see the whole output transformer building process.Thanks,
