Paully is correct in that you really have to mod a dyna st70 to compare it..The dynaco st70 is a 35 plus year old amp with old dated componets and the jolida of course is updated and much newer.What I like about the st70 is when you change the board to a VTA or a curcio or whatever,you have a fine fine amp provided you beef up the power supply to.Im able to roll tubes in my dyna 70s from el34s to 6l6gcs to 6l6g to kt88s becuase of the VTA 3 tube driver and a beefed up PS.Even stock tho as long as you beef up the supply and put in good coupling caps its very satisfying.
