I have some cryo'ed GE JAN 5751s done by Pearl. They're also selected for a number of other parameters like gm, current, and noise. I use 5751 in the voltage amplification position of my amplifiers. I don't think the Pearl cryo'ed 5751s sound better than a non-cryo'ed GE JAN 5751, and any GE JAN, cryo'ed or otherwise, doesn't sound as good as a plain old GE black plate 5751, or Sylvania 3 mica black or gray plate, etc., etc. Basically cryogenic treatment didn't transform an okay sounding tube into a great sounding tube to my ears in the systems I've tried them in.- SJ
