Most later Heintz-Kaufman tubes were rebranded / misslabeled stuff. I'd be especially suspicious that black based 811A's are Russian. The pic is a typical later HK box, including a Russian 6B4G labeled made in England.The early HK company was rather interesting, good history of HK in an earlier AWA issue. Later on the brand "resurfaced" as a rebrander. I have lots of Heintz-Kaufman tubes labeled US or England all of which was Russian.
Hardly rare, or particularly desirable. 811A's in general are rather common, used primarily in Ham gear.
$10-20 is a more typical cost per tube.
No relationship btw, although it would be rather neat to have my own personal tube brand...
