Re: 6AS7 Equivalent?

Equivalent is a 6080, but I'd make sure the TT1 can supply the 2.5A (at 6.3v) filament draw.

The rest is just my brainstorming, as I haven't owned a TT1...

Pinout is the same as a 6SN7, so you can deduce most of the settings. Obviously the bias would be way different. You could wire a "jig" that isolates pins 7&8 and lets you power the filament from an external source. You could then play with the bias settings on a known good 6AS7 and get a good idea of where they should test.
