Which tube are you asking about? The 6EW7 is a standard 9 pin minature socket, although the tube is often in a larger bottle. I believe the correct term is a "9-T9". The Sylvania 6EW7's I've seen are this larger format. They about the same diameter as a 6SN7 with a small pointed tip and the 9 pins in the center of the base. Make sure you use 9 pin sockets that are "flush" with the chassis. The shielded type of 9 pin sockets won't work!
