My 46 amp started out as Gordon Rankin's Bugle 45 design. I've retained the driver stage (5751 srpp). I add a 1K resistor after the 330v B+ (a combined supply for both channels) to drop it to 285v. The 46's run at 285v, with a 1.5K ohm cathode resistor. My power supply is very different, but Gordon's would work well with 46's also.I keep intending to write up this amp - it is one of the best sounding I've built to date. Someday!
