As a side note, the 6GK6 is a great "sleeper tube". Essentially a 6BQ5 with a slightly scrambled pinout. It is almost trivial to modify most amps to take them with a simple re-pinning of the socket. The RCA 6GK6's I've seen have identical construction to their 7189's and seem to hold up to 7189 voltages nicely.A lot less expensive than NOS 6BQ5's!
