Hello Paul, good to hear from you...last time I was the one asking questions. It's good to sit in the teacher's chair at least once. :^)

I assumed that you meant cathode tresistor by Rk.
Unless this is an amp for your tweeters, I find 7 Hz too high a cutoff frequency. You will hear the phase rotation effects of a 7Hz filter all the way up to 70 Hz: nasty, boomy bass.
Morgan Jones recommends 1-2 Hz in his book.

I tend to agree: 1 Hz on preamps, 2 Hz on power amps (following the sage advice of not piling up similar time constants).
So, for a preamp, 150 uF Black Gate bipolar would be fine.
For a power amp, 100 Uf is fine.
