RE: Looking to build an LSES power supply

JLH did use an LSES power supply for his LCR phono preamp. If you do a search on his name it is in the area of post 54 and somewhere around there he also does a no so nice post to I guess someone who questioned his theory in that it states as not to be so critical if you never heard it. He felt a standard LCLC power supply using larger choke values and capacitor values fights with the tubes and makes the music sound a bit too syrupy. He also says his phono pre is dead quiet. With all that in mind I wouldn't mind giving it a go just to see what I've been or haven't been missing.
