Re: skinny power cord for dynaco mk IV

Don't laugh, but the least expensive option is often to pick up some nice quality polarized extension cords and cut off the ends.

Although 3 wire systems make sense from a safety point of view, they can lead to pesky hum problems in older systems.

I haven't (yet) seen a Dynaco power transformer have the primary short to case.
