RE: Tube equalizer for studio

Stephen, hi. Massive Passive EQ by Manley and the one by D W Fearn are excellent choices for a built box. The Massive Passive is two channel and Fearn one. The Massive Passive has worked wonders for me on a regular basis. I chose the MP at the time because two channels of Fearn would have cost almost double. The Pultec L & C approach with a tube amp to make up insertion loss is the best way to go. The MP is like Pultec on steroids. If you try it I bet you like it. Happy Mixing and Happy Listening.
