Scott, hi. Yes, you can do. On the input (as you describe) I would urge you to consider the AudioCap (Reliable Capacitor) TFT - Teflon film and tin foil constuction cap. These are utterly transparent. Personally I would not use an oil cap there. I realize TFT are costly - but it is cost related to materials and difficulty in making rather than fluff, hype, and sizzle. As RC couplers the Dorfs failed to yield good sound here. I don't know if this is related to having them seeing DC or what. Perhaps I should have left them in longer but frankly I couldn't stand the sound. In loudspeaker dividing networks the Dorfs have proven excellent. Go figure. I get my TFT from M. Percy Audio. Other venders have them too. Have fun and Happy Listening.
