Dave, hi. Have you tried these yet? I have used 0.22 and 0.10 K-40Y in a couple RC applications so far and expect to use more. These things are just downright amazing. How long does it take for the Mundorfs to improve? I have never had as bad a reaction to the sound of a capacitor as I had with the Mundorf. I also like the Rel-Cap TFT Teflon & tin which take hours to settle. Even these didn't sound as horrible as the Mundorfs initially. Re Black Gate in power supplies - i like to use BG in conjunction with polypropylene & oil but have found even by themselves they are excellent. If you have't tried the K-40Y I urge you to do so. I had pretty much given up on RC coupling in favor of IT until I heard the K-40Y. Where do you source Rubycon ZA?
