Do Cryogenically Treated Tubes Offer Lower Noise?

I am trying to find the lowest noise 12AX7 for my new Canary CA-400 phonostage (4 12AX7s for about 60-65 DB of gain with a separate SS rectified and tube regulated PS). It is lovely sounding, but is just a bit on the noisy side with my Ortofon Jubilee and inefficient Magnepans.

The stock tubes - Gold Aero Silver Series were OK, but not quiet enough. Low-noise 12AX7EH from the tubedepot were better, but a few extra DB lower noise would be better still. I ordered a pair of Cryoset 12AX7EH Gold Pins for the critical input position, with a hope of eeking out a slightly queter performance.

In other's experience, do the tubes that went through the cryogenic cooling get a bit quieter, or are the benefits mostly in the area of microphonics and dynamics?
