Re: copper wire

Paully, hi. Just wanted to encourage you to delve deeper and see that this wire thing has complexities. Copper is a wonderful conductor. Copper is also a fairly reactive metal. Those reactive products (oxidation, etc) are death to audio. That's the paradox.
What is the point of making an O free wire if as soon as it is made it starts to corrode and degrade? A nitrogen atmosphere before coating is a good idea. The point is don't be shy of doing some listening tests yourself. Silver is reactive as well, but the products of same don't seem to affect audio. Everybody has an opinion but only you hear through your ears.
