Ribbon Condenser Omni/Blumlein shootout website working now

Hi Richard
I used the B&O 200 mics with the AEA preamp, which was designed for ribbon mics. I would not attempt to use them with my ampex, which is too noisy and does not have enough gain. The transformers in the mics are pretty dinky. Check my website out for a comparison between the tube mics and the ribbons. I used a low cut on the ribbons at 80 hertz due to the HVAC air flow disturbing the ribbons. It was quite a boom without the filters. The mic preamps used in the FLK recording was Ampex MX-10 with new coupling caps. Hope to load some files of the same session with the FLKs and Manley tube mic preamps.
