I think the FLK team is just going very slowly with the microphone project. They are working on the new capsule and other improvements. Maybe in a year or so they will come to market. The market is already pretty crowded with mics of all kinds. The FLKs cost a bundle to make and it might be hard competing.
Just did a small group/vocal recording yesterday with my $40 Chinese mics. Turned out pretty well. Recording a 12 group female choral group this weekend at a lovely venue. This one won't need any extra reverb added :-)
