Here are my current mics. My friend in Japan is a 'mad scientist' type and has great ears. He designed a special tube circuit for the great Pearl rectangular capsules. The stock electronics leave much to be desired- these are a huge improvement(wow- big surprise :-))
The circuit uses one 6111 tube with NO capacitor in audio path with either Cinemag or Lundahl output transformer. Much goodness here. Continuously variable polar pattern done remotely.
We should have a bake-off some time. Might even consider a trade on one or two or your 10B tuners :-)
