Ok, I'm considering a new system, and I'm having trouble justifying the cost difference in these speakers:PSB Alpha A/V (or Mini) for $250 CDN
vs.
Totem Mite for $625 CDN
vs.
Michaura M55 ($??? I can't find these anywhere in Canada!!!)How do they compare?
I was thoroughly impressed by the range and presence of the Totems, but found it hard compare them to the PSBs that I heard a week earlier. Is there really a 100% difference in sound, even though there's a 150% difference in price?!?
PS: I have yet to hear Michauras... how would they compare?
They would be used with a Denon UDM30 or NAD L40. I'm into a wide range of music (Indian classical, drum &bass, jazz, etc), so versatility is a must.
Any advice / opinions would be appreciated...
