Looks like a good fill material, albeit somewhat expensive. I don't think they'll move around much once settled, especially the heavy pellets which are more irregular in shape. They weigh about 48 points per cubic foot for the heavy plastic pellets and 37 pounds per cubic foot for the poly pellets.

You could also combine the poly pellets with sand. I've filled stands with a mix of recycled BBs and sand before. The sand fills the gaps between the BBs to make a more inert aggregate.
