RE: hardwood floors?

Not if you not move 'em around. Just plop them into position, set the speakers on them, and leave everything where it is. I suppose if you move them around a lot they might scuff. Never had that problem. I use them because Reynauds sound a bit too hard/cool on their own spikes. But obviously they sound fine to Jean Claude, so it's pretty subjective. Rob, formerly of Applause Audio in Toronto and a JMR dealer, introduced them to me years ago. I"m just guessing they'll work well with some others.
