The lack of attention can be attributed in part to the importer's reluctance to push the brand on reviewers, travel around the country drumming up dealers, and going to shows. He took on the job out of love for the product but is too old, under-capitalized, and happy to give it the full-time attention it deserves. He told the Reynauds he'd be happy to do what he could while they searched out a proper distributor. That was many years ago.
Walter is a harder working, more ambitious importer/distributor than Bob.
If there such a thing as a public Harbeth/JMR shootout, I'm pretty sure I know how it would go. You know how it went here...
