RE: Speakers for classical in a large room.

Be patient and keep a watchful eye on the Audiogon. They come up for sale from time to time, but most people who have them tend to keep them for the long term. The biggest problem you'll have is trying to find some locally. These are huge, heavy speakers and will cost a lot to ship them. I bought mine from a dealer in Bel Air, CA and had them trucked to me in Wisconsin. Very expensive, but was well worth the expense because they arrived safely and I still have them and enjoy them as much today as I did when I got them over a decade ago.
