I believe Inmates have made some necessary and pertinent observations with respect to the acoustic challenges of your listening room. One observation that may have been overlooked is the large coffee table that sits between the speakers and the listening position. It has always been a guiding principle for me that large furnishings not be placed between the speakers or between the speakers and the listening chair. But your room is a beautiful room and I see no reason to mess with the look for the sake of audio. So, I was thinking that you might want to consider speakers that, by and large, take the room acoustics out of the equation or at least dramatically reduce its effects. Dipoles come to mind. And specifically the Orion comes to mind. I am not an Orion owner or fanatic. But I have heard them perform admirably in a large live environment, as yours appears to be. It is recommended that you bring them out from the wall about 3-4 feet. 4+ feet would be ideal. For the type of music that you listen to (which, by the way, almost identically mirrors what I listen to) I would recommend the matching Thor subwoofer, too.
