Bobby drilled the bottom of my TSMs when I owned a pair and I used a set of B&W stands for the CDM 1NT speaker, - i think. This was a good idea on my part to really bind the speakers to the top of the stands with screws. Once filled with sand, and putting those Mapleshade big brass cones between the bottom of the stands and wood floor; the bass was smoother, more tuneful, and deeper, - yadda, yadda, yadda.
It is my understand that the highly recommended Osirius stands are not to be had in this lifetime or the next.
So, get as close as you can with mass weighting, and really tight binding at all of the connection points.
