I have some major issues with Agon, they're continually pushing prices up while not maintaining a legitimate feedback system, and allow fraudulent sellers to continue selling there.
Fortunately, the majority of transactions there are fine. Ebay is another option. With craigslist, you basically have to have an idea what you're looking for, or do a broader search and when something looks interesting, then spend some google time. Garage sale hunting is always fun too.
The other option is DIY which has extensive discussion. Projects like those at www.frugel-horn.com come in at a very reasonable cost, though a fair amount of material expense for the large, somewhat complex enclosures.
Bass is supposed to sound big. 6.5" is not a woofer size.
