After a five-year love affair w/ Vandersteen 3A Sigs, I've ordered a pair of Paradigm Signature S8's to replace them in my 16 X 17" room.
To my ears, the Paradigm S8 v.2's offer all the refinement of the Vandersteens (e.g., smoothness, life-like tonality, etc..) but with a great deal more dynamic impact and extension. ..And not a trace of the fatiquing highs that some have accussed Paradigms of having.
..Granted, the Paradigm name isn't one that confers "elite audiophile" upon it's owners the way other, rarer, names might, but it's a great company whose large scale success allow them to make tremendous speakers that punch way above their weight class. If you haven't listened to the Sigs, I urge you to give them a try.
