Local stereo shop offers good discounts on some of the stuff he sells.
If he can get the MA RS1 down to around $500/pair, I'm there.
But the RC-10 is a firm contender, along with the Paradigms and the Infinity 362.
I was looking for towers, but I'm beginning to think my smallish room would be happier with monitors on stands, as long as the speakers are efficient enough for the Stereo 70.
I built a set of Dayton BR-1s for my son two years ago--the old Dyna didn't have enough juice to drive those, not even close.
