Fascinating. I'm sure they used to recommend Sound Anchors - there may even have been one dedicated to the M40's at some point. It is encouraging to realize that Alan's mind is open on a matter like this. I wonder if he's still committed to all solid-state amps. I guess I should read further. There is no better counselor on how Harbeths should sound and how to make them do so than Alan Shaw. I withdraw my S.A. recommendation.
