General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I finally found a pair of 1/2E's on Agon to replace the 3/1P's I have been using for a while. My initial reaction is these are a major improvement in my rather large main listening room.

I am currently using some stands from another pair of speakers in the rec room downstairs, oak, about 12" high with a pretty good tilt back. I have checked the Sound Anchor site and they look like nice heavy stands without the tilt. I also checked out the Mapleshade Bedrock stands that are lower and also have the tilt.

Any 1/2E owners out there that have used either one of these stands? Should I look at anything else?
