That's a good word toward the Bryston, no doubt!Sure, it's going to be hard to provide good damping when there's a 50 ohm spike in impedance. That's ugly. I think there are different ways internally that an amp can try to deal with that, though I don't see how total power capabilities would come into play to couple with the monster impedance.
