I was on same mission.. bought surround system for office computer for 70 bux w/ little subwoofer.. so didn't want to spend alot on speaker stands.. i shopped around and 50$ seemed going rate for anything close to decent in target/internet.. i checked in cities around.. then i found a target in my city and found the same stands for 20$.. they only had 1 pair and i needed two.. so i thought they were having a sale.. went to another town previously saw the stands and they had it at 49.99.. i tried to get them to match the price of the other branch and they wouldnt.. they said i had gotten a deal on a computer glitch or something..solution.. i bought the 49.99 stand.. took it back to my local store and got a refund for 49.99.. came back in 10 mins and said i wanted that speaker stand i returned because a friend wanted it.. got charged 20$.. woolaa.. shopping around..
