Western Electric used the 300B in their Wide Range theater playback
systems. That was their showcase for the public to experience sound
with motion pictures. AT&T used W. E. program amps for radio network distribution among other things too. The 300B clearly is a high quality audio triode. To say otherwise would be a gross distortion.
