Al, hi. If using DC filament heating how about wiring one amp with leads reversed. That is, Pin 1 positive & Pin 4 negative on one amp and Pin 1 negative & Pin 4 positive on the other. Then you can just swap outputs every month or so. This may save some rewiring grief.
