You may be correct...I am going back to the books to make sure I didn't put my foot in my mouth there..The cryogenic people who make the measurements and provide the charts we use in everday work didn't consider grain boundaries as a factor...but that does indeed bristle the hairs on my neck..I wouldn't be surprised if I was incorrect in that assertion, so I'll look it up..Perhaps they don't consider it a factor because its effect is so miniscule. I mean, the mean free path for copper is what, on the order of 50 nanometers? That's nothing compared to grain size so I can't see grain boundaries contributing anything to speak of compared to lattice scattering.
