who takes delight in effective but nonobvious audio tweaks, this controversy has shown me just how feeble the whole subjective, open-minded approach can be if divorced from physical reality.To do what the chip is supposed to do would require artificial intelligence of a high order (since it obviously lacks big, honking analog filters) as well as a mysterious energy source and a science-fiction method of communicating through metal cabinets with specific errant atoms or ions in a spinning piece of plastic. Where is the cryogenic cooler to chill the supposed quantum dots to near the absolute zero of temperature? Where is the super-computer to run the AI software? How does the chip do its job without heating the whole room perceptibly? It seems like you and Clark and Geoff slept through your thermodynamics classes.
I have tried the chip to be sure I could gripe about it without being lumped in with the usual Philistines. It has zero effect. Your continued defense of it raises the question of what else is in your designs that has zero effect.
