Yup... BitPerfect!

I think BitPerfect is as good as any out there!

I've tried Amarra and could not justify the cost when IMO there's no difference comparing that to BitPerfect for $5!!!

I have not subjectively heard any difference when outputting a bit-perfect stream from the MacBook Pro via the TosLink and fail to see any logical reason why there should be.

A couple years ago, I asked WHY Amarra should do anything in a special way other than bit-perfect output (and I guess good math for equalization if used) and do not recall any reason offered. Until then, IMHO, all this stuff around Amarra at least seems like total hype if all I want is the original bit-perfect data to my DAC.
