RE: Squeezebox Mess

Strange that it's doing this... Do you think it could be a firewall issue on the Win7 machine? Try turning off the Windows firewall and see if this makes a difference.

Specifically, keep ports 9000 & 3483 open for Squeezebox use.

I've never had a SB not "see" the server if they're on the same 192.168.x.x network off the router through all the versions. The 7.6.x server versions had major problems with scanning but never network access issues.

Good luck! You can also check out the Squeezebox forums - software developers often frequent there and can be very helpful. At one time it was great to chat with Sean Adams who designed the hardware - very knowledgeable without the audiophile voodoo :-)
