Sorry man, try as I might, I cannot get behind that statement. Nowhere in digital have I see such an effect that there's any "additional performance" to be gained. Higher quality SATA cables do not make data transfer faster (assuming the lower quality set is up to spec and doesn't cause data error needing retransmit), I've never seen expensive HDMI cables make my TV look better (despite what some marketers say but that's another topic), my ethernet cable works the same whether I have 6-feet of CAT5e vs. CAT6 in normal conditions (I assume nobody here listens to music regularly through thunder storms and under high powerlines!).
